This page contains additional information about certain rewards levels for Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa’s 2024 cookie program. Please see the reward panels for all reward options.

390+ Level – New level added midseason!

 

Earn this fun axolotl sensory toy AND body and face glitter OR $10 Cookie Dough at the 390+ package level. Like our other rewards, this is available to all Girl Scouts as a traditional reward unless a troop has chosen to opt-out of rewards for additional proceeds OR an individual Girl Scout has chosen an opt-out reward option. 

 

Custom Trefoil Tumblers

510+ packages sold

 

GSGI has been working directly with a factory for custom Trefoil tumblers. These might look reminiscent of brands you see in stores, but it’s uniquely its own just like the Girl Scouts who earn them! 

 
 

Hobby Kit Options

1,500+ packages sold  

Hobby Kits: All Girl Scouts who sell 1,500+ packages qualify for this reward, even if they opt-out for a higher reward!   

  • Outdoor Kit – Enjoy a variety of yard games with this kit! Girl Scouts will earn four different activities– Wizard and Werewolves, Mandala Sidewalk Chalk, Unicorn Tube (for water or snow), and a cool boomerang.   

  • Music Kit – Girl Scouts can create and play their own music with this kit. This kit includes a harmonica, magnetic musical poetry, and a vinyl record player.  

  • Iowa State Fair Package – The Iowa State Fair (August 8–18, 2024) will release more information on these packages in May. However, this is what we expect to include: 2 Admission Tickets, 1 Parking Pass, and 2 Adventure Packs - which include free food, rides, and more!   

  • Girl Scouts also have a choice of  $50 in Cookie Dough as a reward option at this reward level.  

 

Special Experience Rewards  

Girl Scout Day at Adventureland, 700 Club - June 1, 2024   

700+ packages sold 

  • Two tickets (one for the Girl Scout and one for a chaperone) 

  • Additional tickets can be purchased the day of the event for friends and family at a discounted rate of $40 per ticket. No rain checks available.   

 

Girl Scouts who can’t make it to Adventureland for the 700 Club can opt-out for a physical reward – this year: a custom Igloo cooler!

 
 

CEO Party - May 31, 2024   

2,024+ packages sold 

Girl Scouts get the ultimate VIP experience at this event hosted by GSGI CEO Beth Shelton. We will be reaching out with more information in April to those who earn this reward level. All Girl Scouts who sell 2,024+ packages earn this reward, even if they opt-out of all other rewards!    

Opt-Out Levels

Opt-out rewards are purple on the Rewards Panel— the Girl Scout must opt-out* of all other rewards and Cookie Dough to receive. Girl Scouts who choose opt-out rewards will start earning Cookie Dough at 1050+ packages sold. *Still eligible for instant rewards, patches, 700+ Adventureland level options, 1,500+ level kit option, and CEO Party.

1,000+ packages sold opt-out level

At the 1,000 package opt-out level, Girl Scouts can select one of three options – iPad, Laptop, or a camp session.

At the 1,500+ package opt-out level, Girl Scouts can select one of three options - Apple Watch + Screen Protector Bundle, Nintendo Switch Bundle, or the GSGI Twin Cities Trip

GSGI Twin Cities Trip - July 18-21, 2024

1,500+ packages sold opt-out level

This is a 4-day Twin Cities Getaway in July for those who select the reward at the 1,500+ opt-out level. Girl Scouts must be entering Grade 5 in August 2024 to participate. Attendees will spend time discovering the amazing lakes, check out art and history museums, take in a local sports game, and of course spend some time exploring the amazing Mall of America! For more information about the trip, check out The Hub. 

GSGI Savannah 2025 Trip - Summer 2025

2,024+ packages sold opt-out level

Girl Scouts must be entering grade 6 or older by summer 2025 to qualify. We realize younger girls may want to experience Savannah, the birthplace of Girl Scouts. We will allow girls who enter Grade 6 in Fall 2027 to have a “rain check” for Savannah 2027’s trip. For more information about the Savannah 2025, check out The Hub. 

Own Your Magic at Universal Studios - June 20-24, 2024 

3,750+ packages sold opt-out level

This trip for a Girl Scout and one chaperone to Universal Studios in Orlando from June 20 – June 24 includes two 3-Park 3-Day Park-to-Park passes, round trip airfare, transportation to the resort, hotel stay, and comps for food.  GSGI staff will be in touch with the earners after the season ends to finalize details with families individually.  

PGA Special Experiences (earned by troops and Juliettes):   

Note: If your troop/Juliette reaches the PGA (per-girl-average) for the following experience rewards (see page 1 of the Reward Panel), you'll receive emails by the end of April with additional information on these rewards.

Juliette Girl Scouts receive admission for themselves and one adult chaperone. Troops receive admission for the number of Girl Scouts who participated in the cookie program plus at least two adult volunteers, with additional chaperones allotted based on the adult-to-girl ratios for Girl Scout activities.   

Only Girl Scouts who are selling count towards your troop’s PGA calculation, so if you have a Girl Scout listed in your troop but they have not sold any cookies, they do not need to be removed from Smart Cookies for your troop’s PGA to calculate correctly.  

 

Gimme Smore Mud Run - September 28, 2024   

235+ PGA (per girl average for each troop or Juliette) 

Includes admission to the annual Gimme Smore Mud Run at Camp Sacajawea, with the three-mile or one-mile course options.  

Trampoline, Waterpark, or GSGI Girl Scout and Me Build-a-Bear Experience

385+ PGA (per girl average for each troop or Juliette) 

The entire troop must select one: the trampoline event, the waterpark event, or the GSGI Girl Scout and Me Build-a-Bear Experience. You cannot mix and match options.

GSGI Girl Scout and Me Build-a-Bear Experience  

Details to come about dates and location options throughout the council.  

  • Choice between two different bears  

  • Specialized heart ceremony  

  • Coordinating cookie reward to their Girl Scout  

  • A clothing item  

Note: The Girl Scout and Me Build-A-Bear Experience includes specialized items for those who earned it. Additional spots may be booked for these special events, but they will not include the specialized items for Girl Scouts who did not earn the reward during the cookie program. Priority for bookings will be given to cookie program earners once reservations are open.  

 

Camp Overnight (and kit!) at a GSGI Property - Dates vary in 2024 and 2025 

500+ PGA 

Troops can choose a free overnight camp rental at Camp Sacajawea in Boone, Camp Tanglefoot on Clear Lake, Camp Juliette in Marshalltown, or Camp Joy Hollow in Westfield during the 2024 or 2025 rental season.  Earners will also receive a camp kit with all the essentials to kick their camp overnight off on the right foot, including a booklet with camp songs and campfire cooking recipes + all the necessities for s’mores and tie dying.
